Fred Tumwine Nkuruho
Mr Tumwine holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Makerere University (1988-91), Diploma in Transport Management from Makerere University (1998-2000) and Diploma in Education from Kyambogo University (1984-1986), Advanced Certificates in Traffic safety management (Kampala, 1999), Advanced Certificate in Transport sector reform studies from VTI Sweden (2000), Certificate in MAAP (Accident Data Base Management) in Kampala (2004)
He also holds a Certificate in Road Safety Advocacy from The Global Alliance for NGOs for Road Safety, Nairobi-Kenya (2018), a Certificate in Understanding and Internal Audit of Quality Management Systems, ISO 9001: 2015 from Uganda National Bureau of Standards-Kampala, a Campaign Management Training Africa Certificate from The Global Alliance for NGOs for Road Safety, through online (2020), a certificate in roles of Road Safety Audits in Improving Traffic Safety, November 8th-10th 2020 and a certificate of completion of the JRS Mentorship Program for Low and Middle-Income Country authors leading to publication in the Journal of Road Safety from the Australasian College of Road Safety.
Mr. Fred Tumwine Nkuruho has a strong combination of technical and socio-economic expertise in transport and safety management with over fifteen (15) years of experience in the implementation of government and private sector programs.
He has also worked with various development partners such as the: World Bank, DFID, DANIDA, European Union, Ukaid and others in physical infrastructure projects in both rural and urban areas of Uganda.
